BIM coordination is responsible for the creation of building services models in 3D and their documentation across all projects. The project-specific framework conditions for the BIM working method are developed together with the client and the project participants and then defined. As part of the contract initiation and in the early service phases, the BIM coordination advises internal and external bodies on the preparation of the specific AIA and BAP. Attention is always paid to a pragmatic approach and a practical reference.

The members of the BIM team are responsible for the uniform quality of the building services models and their coordination within the departments, and for quality checks in accordance with the specifications of the AIA and BAP. All BIM coordinators have extensive knowledge of data management, data formats, interfaces and data exchange. An advanced user understanding of IT systems and software is required.

Job profile

• Advising clients and architects within the scope of the task, preparation and follow-up, as well as participation in planning meetings at the client's premises.
• Supervision of BIM projects in close cooperation with internal and external project managers, system planners and other project participants
• Creation of BIM models with Autodesk Revit and specialist applications
• Quality control and collision checking with selected BIM software (e.g. Solibri)
• Internal cross-project support for employees during modelling
• Ensuring compliance with defined BIM goals throughout the entire course of the project
• Collaboration in the further development and optimisation of processes and internal standards

Your requirements

• Training, master craftsman, technician, engineer, system planner in the field of civil engineering, technical building services or a comparable field
• Confident appearance and good assertiveness
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of BIM and Revit
• Knowledge of the relevant standards (technical building equipment and BIM)
• Open to further education and training
