Cruise Gate

At present and for the next ten years, cruise ships will undergo a minor change of course in Hamburg. While the Cruise Center HafenCity (Terminal 1) has been shut down for construction work, the Cruise Center Baakenhöft has been serving as the new port of call for passing cruise ships since July 01, 2020. On an area of about 1,000 square meters, however, not only work is done. The Cruise Gate Baakenhöft has been designed to provide a stunning location for dancing, partying, laughing and having fun. Guests will enjoy an extraordinary view over the Elbe and the harbor during their corporate event, gala evening, conferences, trade fairs or cultural events, which is made possible by the large windows.
